Seiber Keast Lehner:
Seiber Keast Lehner (SKL) was founded in 2021 as a merger of two strong consulting firms. Seiber Keast Engineering’s experience of over 35 years, with offices based in Farmington Hills, paired well with Lehner Associate’s surveying and engineering expertise of over 100 years, centered now in Clinton Township. While both companies provided professional engineering services, together as Seiber Keast Lehner they can now share and expand their resources in order to provide their clients with the most efficient and comprehensive engineering services throughout a wide range of local municipalities. Combining this benefit with land surveying services provides SKL with a distinct advantage over other firms. Seiber Keast Lehner looks forward to continuing to serve Southeast Michigan with competent professionals dedicated to assisting clients with their civil engineering, land surveying, planning and consulting projects.

History of Lehner Associates:

Lehner Associates served the State of Michigan in Mt. Clemens since 1912 and consistently offered quality civil engineering, land surveying, planning and consulting services over its 110-year history. The company was founded by Walter Lehner, an engineer and surveyor, who was personally involved in the development of sewer, water and road projects for many communities in Macomb County. He also notably performed surveys for the properties that would become the Selfridge Air National Guard Base and the Milford Proving Grounds. Walter’s son, John, joined the company in 1946 and together they assisted in the development of many residential and industrial subdivisions in the area along with numerous commercial projects. They also designed various integral road projects, including a portion of I-96 near Grand Rapids and locally, the route for Metropolitan Beach Parkway leading to the Metropolitan Beach Park on Lake St. Clair. Throughout the years the firm continued to evolve and build on its long-standing service to the community by offering experienced professionals to assist residential clients, developers, builders, contractors and legal professionals.
